Hi everybody.

I ordered my LMMA, MYLM, white male trio and a vivid dream bag today. Then I had a talk with my hd, who told me he was talkin to someone else and he was sorry for completely devistating me. I bawled nonstop during our txting. But I manage to keep it peaceful with no hard feelings.

Then the ultimate sign went down tonight. He posted his new license on twitter. Full name, birthdate, address, height, weight, the whole 9 yards. So I jotted everythin down before he realized that was a stupid thing to do.

I feel better and I've been having dreams about him too so I hope it will all balance out. Wish me luck

Do the le lois try to tell us when we move too fast??

Hello All!! Has anyone ever felt this - that the lois were trying to get a message to you to start something at a later date vs when we planned to do something? I saw this at times while doing adjunct work with candles when doing my trio love spells. However I was so excited when I saw the package containing my Erzulie bath at my door when I got home- ran inside & of course had to open it, look, touch & smell everything- what's new. I pulled the instructions out skimmed them then laid them down. I then checked my emails & did some stuff around the house & then began moving the kit into the bathroom when it hit me I could not find the inst anywhere!!I stripped everything off my bed thinking they were stuck to the sheets, blanket. Looked under & behind my bed, looked under my computer, rewalked my steps thru the house thinking I may have laid them down in another room, still nothing - I couldn't find them period!! 2 hrs later still searching & talk about panic- just had them- no way they just walked away. Then I sat down completely dumbfounded on where the hell they were & I just asked Erzulie if there was a reason she did not want me to do this bath tonight?? Now it's too late to do it without rushing which I don't want to do. I decided to pull out my red witch candle & do that instead & then maybe I would find them afterwards. I have looked forward to getting this bath for a long time- I kept looking at the clock not going to happen tonight if I find them need to find them & plan to do tomorrow night. Well I finally found them stuck in a drawer how they got there notta clue because I don't recall putting anything that looked like a sheet of papers there. (big sigh of relief here). so I'm going to do this tomorrow & you know what it hit me that tomorrow is the date when I met my HD for the first time-So I think she was trying to tell me something. I'm glad I'm waiting til tomorrow to celebrate completion of all 3 love spells & the day I met the love of my life, so maybe sometimes slowing down & letting things settle in are the best way to go. Oh, she also helped me find my misplace love doll ritual & vivid dream ritual-they were crammed in behind the drawer the bath inst were in. I need a glass of raspberry wine & off to bed. It's been quite the night with all my excitement.

what day is best to cast a spell?

Red Wicth

so i have decided to start my red wicth..and for some odd reason its like fizzled and sizzled went out aone the 1st time i did it, reallllly scared me..and there were no herbs by there then 2nd day same, not as intence but fizzled and sizzled then i got he urge to look the witch candle in the eyes while i petitioned WOOW feeling great, hopefully i get to see him the weekend, and get to dab some love potion on him LOL

I just finished MYLM today and had been perplexed as to certain odd emotions I was feeling. I think that I was psyching myself out over the situation with my HD and I was focusing on the question of how things could make the turn around that they need to make in order for he and I to be happy and together again. It just overwhelmed me. I did the burial today, though, and in the hours since completing everything I feel a number of different things- relief, confidence, gratitude- but most importantly I feel a very real certainty that the Lwa are "on my side". I feel them around me and it's a very warm and wonderful feeling. I felt this at a very distinct point during LMMA as well, though it was while I was still in the process of casting it- the effect took me from a place of doubt about my spellwork to a very clear knowledge that the Lwa were truly helping me and moving in my favor. It was a sense of peace and purpose and the certainty. Has anyone else felt this?

I know that this process brings about a number of different emotions, but this is unlike anything I've felt before. I feel the Lwa around me, their influence. I'm so thankful for that! The Lwa are very real and they really want to help! Keep that in mind! This feeling has hit me like a ton of bricks and it's great!

candle work

Hi,
When doing candle work, does my sessions have to last always the same time until I finish that particular candle? Let's say I start a candle, and I do 27 minutes sessions, but some days I don't have much time and I do 15 minutes sessions with the same candle. Is that okay, or should I stick to the same time with that particular candle until it burns down?

Hi Truinfo - No, any candle session may last from 9-33 minutes. You dont need to stick to the same amount of time for each session. Light and Love, Sister Bridget

You know how much we love those signs- My NOBM time was filled with huge ones from day 2 of seeing swans to the 5th day of being around a dog most of the day which was so unexpected but loved to seeing an actor in 3 movies that looks like my HD, to another dog on my 8th day - 2 movies turned on right at the part where the vows are being done on the 8th & 9th day to finally seeing HD on a license plate where I had not seen that in oh say 3 wks. Smiling all the way!!!! I did it, I did it - complete all 3 love spells in full myself & yes I will succeed because anxiety is no longer my middle name!! I love you guys & all your kind words during my stressed out times. Thanks for being there when I needed a friend!! love LS

What if you get interrupted?

Today, I was working on my white male candles thinking I had more than enough alone time. Well, wouldn't you know that about 20 minutes into my session the phone guy shows up and needs me give him information about our phone troubles. I couldn't much avoid it either. I continued to let the candle burn for the 33 minutes but clearly didn't get to mediate much beyond the 20 mark. Is that okay? It didn't mess anything up for me, did it? I really didn't expect that interruption. lol Doesn't it figure...

You know, come to think of it, today has just been an odd day in general. Maybe I should have stayed in bed! lol

Smiling tonight!

wow omgg, im all smiles right now! My HD just texted me! Finally! He hasnt initiated a txt in foreverrrr. I asked in my petition to remind my HD(ex-bf) of the good times we used to have and for me to receive a txt or call or email from him, ANYTHING b/c i would love to hear from him....and tonight, it happened!! He said he missed me and brought up a little story that reminded him of me. And its funny cuz I was watching some tv show and i kept thinking of him. I felt this "urge" or that intuitive feeling so I looked over to my cell, sure enough, it was him like we were both thinking of each other at the same time. awww...im so happy i heard from him. ^_^ This made my night or week rather! Those signs don't pop out for nothing! Thank you Papa Alegba!

spellmaker oils & great skin!

Not sure where to post this, or if its ok to post this, but I wanted to share some great physical results I have been getting on my skin with the bath instructions that come with the spell kits. You know how the instructions say to massage oil after you soak in the bath crystals? I wanted to share a tip- I've been using pure vitamin E oil as a base and adding droplets of the oil that comes with the spell kit. My skin not only smells beautiful, but its so silky and smooth, especially on the days i ex foliate first in the shower! WOW! This only just attests to the quality of ingredients you guys use in your oils~ I have sensitive skin that breaks out if I use the wrong detergent, and your oils never make my skin greasy or pimply....I'll be sure to check out your skin care line next! Papa Legba and Saint Anthony

I'll try to keep this short. I was raised Presbyterian and baptised in both the Presbyterian church and the Catholic church to suit my dad's side of the family, even though he had gone through a divorce and was no longer allowed to take part in the sacraments. Anyway, that was the reason that I was never really exposed to Catholicism outside of an occasional Mass on Sundays, and because I didn't understand what was going on I felt like a real fish out of water.

I wasn't really exposed to Catholicism again until I started to Catholic high school, by choice, and that was where I slowly developed a better understanding of and appreciation for what Catholics believe. That said, I still nursed a fondness for the idea of a god that was closer to my mother than my father who I constantly butted heads with. For that reason, I had kind of an antagonistic relationship with Catholicism and I decided to put my focus on a softer, gentler side of God, one that more closely resembled a loving mother. And that was, oddly, how I feel the Blessed Mother found me, through my best friend's mom who is a devout Catholic and dedicated to Mary. I believe Mary found me through my interest in a softer, more beautiful image of God. My friend's mother started to talk to me about Mary and I began to read about Mary, and long story short I started seeing tons of signs that Mary was around me, guiding me in her way. Well, recently, as I was praying to Mary about helping me through my situation with my HD (very emotional, of course), I felt compelled to find out more about the saints. In doing just a small amount of research I found that St. Anthony of Padua is the Patron Saint of lost articles. So I bought a medal for Saint Anthony and a small statue to place in my meditation area and I began to petition him for the return of my HD specifically, but for help in general in knowing what to do next.

Fast forward a few months, and I found myself drawn to this website. As I looked over the information here, I felt sure that Spellmaker would work. I don't know why. Clutching at straws? Possibly. But it's always felt more certain than that. I ordered my spellkits and candles and such and then, as I waited, I poured over the information on this site and the testimonials and the forums, and finally, very recently, I found Papa Legba's page (not sure how I missed it before, it's referenced all over the freakin' place ). I laughed out loud when I got to his synchretization with St. Anthony of Padua! It makes sense, then, that I have felt such a closeness to Legba since the moment I first asked him to open the gate! I always feel as if I'm in the presence of an old and true friend when Legba is around.

I have always believed in the power of things unseen, but for a long time I kind of turned my nose up to the idea of the saints or their influence in certain matters. After a lot of experience, I now feel that I was led to this site through my prayers to both Mary and St. Anthony- especially considering Erzulie's relation to the sorrowful aspect of the Blessed Mother. It's been a very interesting time filled with moments that made me sit back, take a deep breath, and be thankful for the guidance I have received. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

white Damballah Bath

I think the forum needs a special spot for Baths> I just have to share this- not only did this smell so incredible but it was an amazing experience, insightful too. My wonderful caseworker, Rose, recommended this to me & she was right- exactly what I needed & the timing was perfect. I kept picking it up to smell it!! I did the ritual & soaked in the tub which I'm starting to enjoy more & more. Here's the werid thing. The week before I bought 2 soft white towels as I wanted that for my new bathrooms or so I thought. I had not yet even ordered the bath. Now I think back to when I bought the towels as I almost put them back but felt the urge to just go ahead & get two to hang up in each room not knowing I would need a white towel. Hmmm- Papa Alegba??? when I finished the bath I walked into my bedroom & saw something white on the floor mind you there was nothing on that floor prior to the bath it was spotless- I bent over to pick it up & was absolutely shocked- it was the symbol that goes under my love doll's head- the one I thought I lost in my move & haven't been able to find for 8 wks!!!

I saw two incredible signs the next morning a white truck w half the spelling of the country my HD is in & a white & green license plate with the month & date of my HD's birthday & my initials. Plus I feel very strong, positive & overall very good wellbeing- I began NOBM the next day-I'm back in my flow-sparkly, happy radiant thoughts. Hey, it's even helped me at work. I will definitely keep this on my favorites list!! Huge thank you to Mambo Sam & Rose. THANK YOU!!! Now I'm ordering Erzulie bath because I'm putting all my heart into my 3rd spell. I can only imagine how wonderful this is going to be. LS

Papa Alegba & signs in my dream!

I think I may have had an encounter with one of Lwa spirits last night, in the form of a dream. Though I love dogs, I never dream of them. And last night, several of them appeared in my dream on a long stretched-out residential road. One of them was a small, white dog who was very friendly and gentle and never attempted to bite me. This dog happened to appear in the front yard of my HD's grandma's house! (When my HD and I were dating, we used to spend a lot of time at his grandma's place). Later in the dream, I remember going into the house and having a conversation with his grandma. The dog (in the form of Papa Alegba) and his grandma visited me in my dream! lol. Also yest at work, I came across my HD's name under a customer's account.

During my petitions, I would ask Papa Alegba & the spirits to show me more signs & symbols. So, last night was definitely a sign! He can hear me, he's listening and showing me him & the spirits are here to help ^_^
