FREE GROUP RITUAL WITH VODOU SPIRIT SOBO

The Spellmaker Family perfomed a group ritual for wealth and security to the great and powerful lwa, Sobo, on December 9, 2008. We encouraged all those who are interested in participating in this ritual to join us! This page has detailed instructions on how to be included in the ritual, how to do the ritual (with or without the Sobo Wealth and Security Ritual Pack) and information on Sobo and Bade.

It was absolutely FREE to be included in our family's ritual. You did not have to purchase anything. The purpose of our ritual will be to petition for the financial security of all of those who ask. While we do have a nice little ritual pack that you can purchase, that is up to you. You will be included in the ritual if you simply send us your petition by email.

This ritual will be repeated in the future, keep your eyes pealed! Or, you can follow the instructions on the page posted above, and do the ritual any time you like.

Those of you who participated with us, or after us, and would like to share their results, please to post them here!

I have to say, I really LOVED this ritual!

The whole ritual in total, set up, food preparations, drawing the veve, singing the Priye and other songs and doing the ritual took me over five hours and I loved every minute of it.  When I sang the song for Legba to open the door for me, the door to the room I was in (an exterior door) flew open.  It startled me at first, but I just got up and pushed it shut but when I sat back down, it flew open again.  So I just left it open and said to heck with the neighbors, maybe the drums and singing would help them sleep.

After I was finished with the actual ritual per Mambo's instructions, I did a Money Egg session (you might remember from my other post how much I LOVE my Money Egg) on my Sobo altar.  That night, after I went to bed, a thunderstorm rolled through when there had been no call for rain and it was only localized to my general area.  They even said something about it on the news the next morning.

Now, sometimes I am not too good about going through the mail right away, especially if I don't recognize the sender.  About a week after the ritual, I was going through the mail and there was a letter there from a court clerk from a different state, one that I had never been.  Inside was a letter that said that I had been part of a Class Action lawsuit that I had no idea about along with a check for over $250!  I looked at the date on the check, and it had been cut three days after the ritual!!!  Then, the next day or so I got a Christmas card in the mail at work.  It was from a lady that I had only spoken to once about her feral cat program.  Inside the card was a $50 gift card!!  So then I was like, wow!  I went home and started looking through more of my past mail.  There was a letter there addressed to "Resident" from the NTSB.  They wanted me to participate in a phone survey and even though I don't have a home phone that they could contact me on, there was a $5 bill in it just to compensate me for my time!  I was in shock!

After I had completed the ritual, I had given a friend of mine one of the bills from the ritual as a "good luck charm", I told him about what had happened.  He was in awe, and then started thinking.  He said that since I had given him that "charm", he had been getting rebate checks from his cell phone company.  He said normally they would send him a notice that his bill would be adjusted, but this time they sent actual checks.  He also said that someone who had owed him money, that he never thought he would see again, showed up out of nowhere and paid him the money that he was owed!  He also said that his wife had received a Christmas bonus that was double what it normally would be!

I know that these are not big money amounts, but it just goes to show that when doing this type of work, the money can come from anywhere.

Wishing you all the best!

This was a great ritual for me.  I wish we could do it as a group every month! I had someone pay me back a significat amount of money that was owed to me. I didn't think I would ever see that money again but he did pay me back (kind of funny, it was an ex boyfriend and I figured he would never pay me back since we were not dating anymore).  Also I found a great deal on a car and got financed with ease even though my credit is not that great. Lots of little things happened too, I found some money, I won a $100.00 scratcher, just stuff like that. But like RS said it all adds up.  Thanks for doing this one Mambo!

Kinda late in posting this, but I wanted to say that I had AMAZING success with this ritual!!!  Just a few weeks after the ritual, I received $500 in Christmas money.  Now, my mother had helped me pay off a number of bills a few months prior to this (which enabled me to come to the 2008 Voodoo Conference!), so I hadn't been expecting much of anything from her this Christmas -- the money was a big surprise.  I thought that was the extent of my good fortune, but I was wrong...

In late January, a good friend of mine lost her home due to financial woes.  A week or so after I'd helped her move, Mom surprised me again, and in a HUGE way -- she wrote me a check for $11,000 and told me to put it in some kind of interest-bearing account so that I would never up in the same boat as my friend!

OK, if you knew my mother, you would know how crazy-wild both of these windfalls are.  While she can indeed be generous, her favors are expected to last a long time (i.e., "all right, I'll help you out, but don't expect anything from me for a while!").  So, needless to say, I was SHOCKED.

Wait, it gets better.  I'd lost my job of 17 years at the beginning of 2007, and in August of that year had started a new job on a temp-to-permanent basis.  Another employee had started at the same time, and we became friends (they'd interviewed us for the same position, and liked us both so much that they hired us both).  The temp agency paid us well, but we didn't have any benefits, and due to a mail screw-up I'd lost my COBRA insurance from my old job.  By the time I took part in the Sobo group ritual, our boss had been trying to get us hired permanently for a looong time, but our company is part of a much larger company, and the request had to filter its way through numerous corporate levels -- plus, it was a bad time for hiring; numerous employees had been laid off over the past year (including my HD!).  I'd included a request in the ritual for both myself and this other girl to finally be hired full-time.

Well, within 3 months of the ritual, we were free of the temp agency at last!  Our boss, and his boss (the Director of Finance) and the CFO had pushed it up to the president of our division, who in turn kept pushing it up the food chain to the president of the parent corporation.  Despite a hiring freeze, we made it onto the payroll, awesome benefits and all!

I'd had such great results that I repeated the ritual this spring, mostly to just honor Sobo and give thanks to him, but also to put in a good word for my best friend, who had gone without a much-deserved raise for several years, and for my friend who had lost her house.  Well, the foreclosed friend got a promotion at her job shortly thereafter, and a few months later my best friend finally got his long-overdue raise!

So, yes, I believe this is an excellent ritual!

Yeah I've been getting money here and there and the biggest amount which was odd because I'm still not sure who did it, was that someone paid my $1600 property tax bill in April.  I only found out about it as I was just about to pay it.  I still don't know who did it yet.
