Dear All, one of the wonderful Spellmaker chat operators recommended that I read Marie Bradley's book 'Voodoo Or Voodon't?' He told me that it was a great book that would most definitely help me through my spell journey. I ran this idea past my caseworker and she too agreed that it was a great book worth reading. I ended up purchasing the book online through Amazon Books and what can I say? I picked it up and couldn't put it down! I read it in a couple of days. There was so much in it that I could relate to! You feel like you are being taken by the hand and led down a wondrous spell path by an ex Spellmaker client who so kindly shares her Spellmaker experience step by step. The ups, the downs, the good, the bad and the ugly. Marie Bradley is truly a very special person who so lovingly shares her amazing journey. We have all been through some tough times during our spell work and some of us (including myself) are still struggling to keep our minds firmly focused on that light at the end of the tunnel. I felt like this book was about me and my experience in so many ways. This book is a MUST READ for all you lovely people out there who need inspiration to keep the faith and to keep up your patience and hard work in order to achieve your happy ending... It IS possible and it CAN happen for us too! Love & hugs, Jess >

Reply with quote | #3 | Hi Mambo Sam, I apologise for the honest mistake! LOL! I wasn't aware that the lovely Ms. Bradley is still a part of the Spellmaker family. Please excuse my ignorance Ms. Bradley! I suppose all of you wonderful Spellmaker staff are just way too nice for any of us clients to ever 'leave you', even after we get our results and our happy ending! You guys are so lovely that you really do feel like family to us after a while... Where would we all be without all of you fantastic, super duper, amazingly wonderful people? Thank you so much! All that you do for us is so deeply appreciated!
 Love & hugs, Jess |

I loooove this book! I have read it many times. I ever has special pages reserved for when I am feeling a certain way-I flip it to that page and then feel reassured! __________________ *Mandee*

Reply with quote | #6 | I wanted to weigh in on this book because first of all I was completely amazed that someone was so moved by their experience with spellmaker that they wrote a BOOK about it. That just blew me away.
My case was not a love case but I bought and read the book and really I could not put it down.It was just so inspiring to read this woman's journey and I was really taken with how she shared her life, experience, and just completely told the "spellmaker story". It was great! __________________ Reach for the sky,

Reply with quote | #7 | I too, will add my support to Voodoo or Voodon't by Marie Bradley...... everytime I feel like getting down and the least bit discouraged, I get out this wonderful, wonderful book. It brings me back up and it is so encouraging and having been with Spellmaker quite a while now.... what Marie says is just the way it is and the way it can go...... I highly recommend it to all newbies and a good thing if some of us oldies re-read it again and again. She is such a delight....
Also as Mambo Sam recommends the Divine Horsemen- also I recommend and have read it perhaps three times now.. Each time I learn something new 0r have a better understanding.....
Both are great reading folks...
Good luck to each and all.....

Reply with quote | #9 | I bought the book and finished it last week while I was on my business trip. It was a great read. I did a revenge spell in 2001 and got the result I wanted. But I was still very naive then on how the whole thing works. When I did the money and other spells, I didn't understand the importance of patience and the many "messages" that the LWA were trying to send me. So I gave up thinking that the result of the revenge spell was just coincidence, just because I didn't see the other spells working.
I'm back now to do the spells the right way. "Voodoo or Voodon't?" helped me to understand that spell work is "work" and it requires a lot of faith and patience ... and most of all "positive" attitude. I live with my mom right now and she's always notorious at pointing out the "negative" of everyone around us. I'm now trying to ignore that instead of entertaining it and absorbing it into my well-being. I want to keep my mind, heart, and soul be at peace and full of positivity. I believe that that alone will help the spell be more effective.
I'm just glad that now I'm back, this forum is up and running. And we now have online chat too if in case we need help. I used to phone Maurice and asked so many retarded questions. Now I'm online and bug Aleck or Sierra with my retarded questions. LOL.
Love all, M |

I read this book last month & found it to be very inspiring.. and insightful. It is a very well written book and hard to put down. I find that it's a good reference book. It makes you really think about what it is you want & why you want it. I didn't finish my spell to completion the first time & I took time to really think about that & why when I was excited to get it. I realized I was rushing and not taking the time to really do it so shortcuts and then not finishing it when I saw results, which were shortlived. So while reading the book, I would put it down & really think about what I read in comparison to me and what I was hoping to accomplish. I re-ordered my first kit, I read all the instructions several times & then I put it away for 4 wks, I finished reading this book and sat back took some notes and thought some more. It gave me the courage I need to do it again by myself. Mambo Sam has said that we can do these spells ourselves. It takes faith in your own ability, total focus in your petitions and incredible positive attitude not just while doing the spell but with everything else going on in your life and click you can do it & will feel this calm amazing feeling when the 9 days roll by & you sit where I am today - the 10th day & 100% completed each & every step! I will do the final step tomorrow & guess what my faith to do this has never failed me this time. My positivity has made an incredible difference in what I have been able to accomplish in the last 2 wks & I'm not just talking about my spell, everything that touches my life daily is just better. |

Reply with quote | #11 | I just got this book yesterday!! And I can't put it down either... sounds similar to my situation...but not totally at least I do see my HD every week. It has definately prompted me to start using my RED MUMMY candles I had bought prior to receiving this book. It's awesome though.... And gave me more insight on how I should be behaving when waiting through this processiong period. Highly recommend it... Everyone here working on their HD really needs this book. I instantly felt more positive .. and stopped feeling so negative... |
