It's almost September, so don't forget September 9th at 9am is the time to make Love Potion #9. And it's 2009, so a bonus year! The recipe is here in the Tips & Suggestions category or at
Also check out Mambo's blog post on the Chinese Harvest Moon Festival: According to the chart, it's October 2nd this year (the 3rd in China).
Ok, I've given you enough notice, start shopping for your ingredients! I have basil growing in my garden, so I'm set there. :-)

Because of this, we are considering doing a big batch of it ourselves and then consecrating it per person who might want a bottle of it from us - just in case you don't get to it in time or can't do it at the proper time. OH HOLY COW! You know I completely forgot about the Love Potion #9 - I made it three years ago and it was so good to use. I had a lot of fun making it and i felt I got a good result from using it. Also while I was making it I just had the feeling that all my spell work that was going on for a situation that I had at that time was going to work out and it sure did. If you haven't made this before I really suggest that you do it. It is is great. |

Thank You Mambo for responding. Regarding the love potion, where can I find strawberry juice? Can I use the jarred strawberries that come with syrup or just crush freshstrawberries myself and use for the potion? Please advise. Thanks.
